Thank you for shopping with Hills Leather. Each item we craft is made with care, using Premium Leather and traditional hand-stitching techniques. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you're not, here's how we handle returns, exchanges, and refunds.
Returns & Exchanges
We accept returns or exchanges within 14 days of delivery, provided the item is:
- In unused, original condition
- Free from damage, stains, or signs of wear
- Returned in its original packaging
To request a return or exchange, please contact us at info@hillsleather.co.za with your order number and reason for return.
We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.
Non-Returnable Items
Due to the nature of handcrafted and personalised goods, the following items are non-returnable:
- Custom-engraved or personalised products
- Items made to specific measurements or requests
- Gift cards or vouchers
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we'll notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- If approved, your refund will be processed within 5–7 working days to your original payment method.
- Local delivery costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to a fault on our side.
Damaged or Faulty Items
If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 3 days of delivery with clear photos of the product and packaging.
We'll evaluate the issue and offer a replacement, repair, or refund where appropriate.
Local Delivery for Returns
- Customers are responsible for return local delivery costs, unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
- We recommend using a trackable delivery service and retaining proof of postage.
- Hills Leather cannot be held liable for items lost or damaged in transit during return.
Cancellations
If you wish to cancel your order, please email us as soon as possible. Orders that have already been crafted or shipped cannot be cancelled.
